Re: arctic mountains

Solar gave Neytiri a gentle lick on her neck, "that is very sweet of you. Thank you Neytiri. I must go check up on the little ones, they must be scared as the wolves drew close." she said calmly, flicking her "Let everyone know to stay close... once everyone has had a bit of rest we are returning home, where it is warmer, where the pups can bare the cold so mentors can mentor them and teach them and allow the youngsters to play, she perks her ears and trotted over to the den, "Kato, Yuki, Blaze?" she asked gently, seeing them gently playing with one another as they laid on their sides, "we will be going back home soon my little ones." she said licking their heads, "you three are the future for this packs survival, you must be strong and survive the next few years, to keep this pack thriving." she said quietly, in a gentle voice. She dropped a hare in front of them that had been killed by one of the pack members earlier.

Amber nudged Neytiri slightly with her muzzle. "Would you not mind telling me the directions to the herb? I've got a wolf to accompany me on my trip for precautions. I don't think Solar will need it seeing as she's a lot better but there are definitely more harshly wounded wolves that need it I'm sure. I honestly don't mind making the journey," she said slightly seriously but smirked to keep moods optimistic.

Post by Nanook on Wed Jan 06, 2016 4:04 am

~ Nanook ~

The debonair prince quickly consumed the entirety of the salmon, except for the bony skull of course, and drifted his gossamer tongue against his whiskers and mandible in satisfaction. "Thanks, doll." He expressed gratefully toward the Huntress and perceived Amber's initially exclusive gesture, nodding in comprehension and floating his enormous cranium above his spine. Elusive lamps regarded the maiden's immediate sequential action and curiously directed toward the female of his subspecies with auditory fixtures thrusting forth with slight interest. Nanook quickly returned his attention upon Amber when she traversed off toward the Medic Den and sailed with disciplined fluctuations of his adroit limbs alongside her bodice, momentary lamination of athletic muscle visible from beneath the etches of his roguelaure. In time, they arrived promptly outside the Medic Den and regarded the injured packmates with placid optics, however pangs of sympathy were produced gradually within the lighthouses of his orbits. The Casanova awaited outside the commodious grotto and reclined doggedly against the terrain patiently, sprawling his forelegs ahead of himself comfortably and shifting his hindquarters.

Echo opened an eye, seeing that some of the pack had returned. Her banner wagged happily as she grinned softly, in a rather amiable mood. She stretched her fores in front of her, letting out a small groan. The female was rather tender in her rib area. She sighed quietly, not feeling like getting up quite yet. A yawn escaped her and she rested her apex on her legs.

Shadow Feather had dozed off for a little, then immediately shot up, ears perked. She looked around the campsite now hoping no one had seen her silly actions, then buried in the snow and observed her pack mates, keeping completely silent.

Solar looked to the young pups once more before trotting out to Amber, "its up the mountain about fifteen miles then go to the right until you find it." she explained to the young wolf. "be careful, okay?" she said worried for her pack mate.

Amber smiled at Solar, "Of course I will." She was pleased that Solar is doing so much better than before. The she-wolf padded over to Nanook contently. "Ready to go?" Amber asked with a small shimmer of light in her golden optics.

She smiles loving the fact that her alphaes is pleased with her. She watches as Amber and nanook are willing to take the journey to get a valuable herb. She then clenches her jaws shut lightly as she pads over to a clearing yo rest seeing shadow feather watching and looking around. With a slight bounce in her step she gets the omega with a smile on her face dropping the fish in front of her and lays next to the wolf feasting on her fresh fish.

Nanook trained his dazzling oculars onto the return of the blithe, spindling beauty and mercurially rose onto his limbs without haste, shaking the fine dusting of delicate snowflakes off his coarse hackles and claiming with a cocksure grin, "Always." He postured himself with certainty and readily positioned his cranium to hang parallel to his spinal reign, but he brought it closer to the maiden with audits relaxed against his nape. Whatever he desired to endeavor, he quickly thought secondly about it and retracted his skull to hover high into the atmosphere. "Lead the way, m'lady."

As Nanook came slightly too close Amber felt a small shiver roll down her back but she decided it'd be best to continue without a trace of her reaction. "Follow closely sir, weather can be unpredictable." She said lightly. Amber turned towards the mountain and began the journey with a leisurely walk.

The intuitive prince wasn't relatively certain whether the vague fluctuation in the she-wolf's akasha was positive or not; Nanook sealed his voluminous demitasse closed and acquiesced in silence, lifting forward his audits and drifting into a lethargic saunter against her flank. He refined his lengthy strides and adopted a gait to efficiently synchronize himself with her, familiar with easily gliding ahead because of his extensive jaunts. "How are you feeling?" He grinned suavely and pivoted his giant cranium passed his shoulders, directing his bewitching celadon lanterns onto Amberrose's aureate optics. He wasn't particularly good at small talk, but it's obvious he was exuding some effort to try; his doctrine on chit-chat was rather... vacuous.

Radar watched them closely getting a bad vibe while the two go up the mountain, she quickly nods hello to solar and Ney, but then follows closely behind Noon and Amber, but she can't be heard or seen. She looked around waiting for the moment to strike at any time. Her ears pinned straight up and sense of smell in full use.

Post by Karnak on Wed Jan 06, 2016 10:00 pm

As Karnak was roaming the outskirts of the Icepack territory, he paused for a moment, letting out a drawn sign. Now standing still for the first time since the battle, Karnak noticed a growing pain located on the right side of his neck. At this, he let out a growl of annoyance, realizing this was where one of Shatter's wolves had nicked him. Despite the small gash, he decided to finish up checking the territory before heading back, making sure his pack was no longer in danger.

Amber perked her ears up at the he-wolf's request for conversation. "How am I feeling? Well, I'm trying my best to feel optimistic while tracking through the snow. It's awfully cold. To be certain I'm relieved not too many perished in the battle on our side. Getting this herb could prevent even more fatalities fr-" Amber was interrupted by a rustle in the bush and turned her head quickly towards where the rustle originated, her hair on her back rising slightly. She saw nothing in that general direction and assumed it was a bird. "Sorry," she said continuing her sentence, "this herb will prevent more fatalities from occurring,"

Post by Echo on Wed Jan 06, 2016 10:32 pm

Echo let out a soft sigh, realizing she had to eat at some point. The delta crawled off of the rock, her head pounding with the movement. She paused for a moment, closing her eyes and allowing the world to stop twisting. She was rather cold, despite being in the sun. "Must be beginning to get infected." She muttered, her puncture wounds in mind.
Her sleek frame made it over to a deteriorating carcass. She lowered her crest, eating a few bites. The she-wolf licked her maw, finishing the meal. Her orbs observed camp carefully, making sure to not appear weak in front of her pack. The battle had obviously taken a toll on all of her pack mates, but they had succeeded with few fatalities.

Radar quickly heard a noise she watched nook and Amber. To their left she spotted a wolf remaining from Shatter's pack stalking them. She growled low and sprinted out towards the wolf quickly pinning the wolf. She clenched onto his back with his lengthy fangs. The stranger quickly threw her off onto the ground, "you distracted me from getting my lunch," he said snickering. Radar's amber eyes gleamed in anger. She smirked, "oops sorry." The huntress then pinning the male stranger as he got distracted, his vital windpipe uncovered. She sunk her fangs into the male snapping his neck with no mercy. She let go feeling the wolf bite wound around her neck. She sighed and panted then drawing her attention to Nook and Amber.

Post by Channing on Thu Jan 07, 2016 12:14 am

Channing loped along the pack's territory, scanning for any threat. His auds were perked forwards, paying attention to every small detail. He buried his muzzle in the snow, searching for small prey. The terrain crunched under his pads, breaking the soft silence in the forest. The scout found a small hare and propelled himself forward, snatching it easily. He trotted back to camp, figuring he would give his kill to Solar.

solar rotated her ears, dang she was caught lying, she gave a gentle smile, "If you could help me keep the pack in this area aside from Amber and Nanook because once everyone has been taken care of we will be returning home." she said firmly, she was going to keep her mind to it, "now that the pups are older, they can carry their own weight, we may have to carry them on occasion as they get a bit tired but theyre about five months they should carry their own weight." she said looking over the brute.

Jumping up in surprise at Neytiri's action, her eyes widened in fear before calming. Watching her eat the fish, she realized how hungry she was, having not eaten in weeks, but decided to say nothing of it. Knowing Neytiri, there was no possible way to get out of a conversation, but she let Neytiri speak first.

Glancing over to shadow she realizes her shock of her actions upon herself. "Hungry? Here u can have the rest of this fish." She states calmly licking shadow ear lightly leaving the rest of the fish for her to eat. Climbing back onto her paws she shakes her pelt and licks her muzzle free from the blood of the fish.
