The coastal side

this is where the oceans edge is located, if you are lucky you may be able to get ahold of a fish or snail at the waters edge.

Channing walked along, breathing in the salty, warm air. He stepped cautiously over the small rocks that stood above the tide washing up on shore before looking over to Solar. "Would you like to join me in a swim?" He smirked, slowly sliding off of the rock and padding across the sand. His tail wagged happily as he walked a few feet into the water, looking around for fish.

Solar Eclipse sighed as she looked out at the Crystal clear ocean, having a soft green tone to it. She took in the scent of the calming scent that surrounded the area. Staring at the water for a few moments, she cautiously went toward it, making sure there wasn't any danger in it before she made her way into the water, only enough to cover her legs, not wanting to go any further than necessary, she wasn't scared of water, but when it came to the sea, she was very cautious due to a near death experience when she was younger. "the water is warm." she said chuckling softly.

Channing spotted a glimpse of silver and leaped forwards, diving under the waves. His frame submerged under the water, looking for what had caught his attention. He shot forwards, jaws locking onto a fish before heading up towards the surface. The male swam up to Solar, shaking his pelt and flicking his tail towards her, causing a small spray of water to land on her. "Hope you like seafood." Channing chucked, giving a playful grin.

Solar shook her pelt free from the water that had just landed on her, licking her nose lightly. "Fine by me." She said casually, looking to Channing. Her optics searching around the water for a few moments before tilting her head toward the canine, chuckling. Her ears rotating as she listened to her surroundings.

He grinned, shifting his weight to fall onto his haunches before taking in a deep breath and looking out to the water's edge. Channing had to admit, even though he loved winter, he was glad spring was arriving. However, this also meant that he would be shedding like crazy, and losing some of the darker tones in his pelt. He bumped Solar softly. "Shall we continue?" He smiled, auds swiveling towards her.

Solar shrugged softly, nodding to the male, "sure." She said softly, her audits rotated slightly, "just one last place then we should get back. I'm not comfortable leaving the heart of our territory for long unattended " she said sighing softly. Looking around at the melting icicles, watching the sun dink below the earth's surfaces, leaving them in darkness.

Channing nodded before standing up. All of the places that they had seen were amazing, he was glad that he was able to visit most of them. The moonlight reflected off of his pelt, creating a soft, luminous glow. His hazel orbs appeared to shine with new energy, most likely replenished from the bright moon. "Then lets make the best of it." The male grinned, walking beside her.

Solar Eclipse shocked her pelt, her audits rotate as she looked around, she sighed softly, she hadn't much time to think about the news Nanook had given her, nor time to think about everything that has happened. Solar sighed and trotted toward Penguin ridge, which was on the way home. Allowing herself to once again become distant from her pack mate, as she is with the rest of her pack.

Channing followed Solar, his nape extending, muzzle softly brushing against her banner. He inhaled slowly as his orbs fell closed, noticing the switch in her attitude. The scout wondered what could be on Solar's mind that was causing so much trouble, but decided to keep it to himself. This wasn't Channing's business to poke into. A sigh escaped him as he listened to the calls of birds, unaware of the silence that hung in the air.
