The ancient river, created from melting glaciers, used to run through this portion of land has been stolen, left to be a mere indent upon the flat lands. Within it's valley many loners lurk, using the valley as shelter during colder storms and hiding in it's shade from the blinding sun. It is a sanctuary to a few wolves, abandoned by the outside world and rarely touched, it is a place many can call home and yet it is unclaimed, belonging to no one and all.
